ALL Yonkers Youth Athletics is a 501( c )3 organization that relies on volunteers.
Our programs need coaches.
Parent/Guardian volunteers are urgently needed.
The past few years have seen a very steep decline in parent involvement. This is a new issue for us. In past years, teams were created and several adults from each team eagerly came forward to coach, assist during practices, manage team communications etc.
We cannot offer programs to our children if adults do not step up to help.
Our league simply cannot survive without your help.
Going forward, AYYA will monitor all divisions during registration, those divisions that lack volunteers will be put on waiting list until there are sufficient volunteers in place
Offering to coach is easy. Simply go the registration tab of our website and register yourself as a coach. As with any organization serving children, we expect coaches will complete a background check.
Thinking of volunteering but have never coached before?
AYYA will support all coaches by providing the tools you will need to succeed. Our seasoned coaches are always available to help.
AYYA is a not for profit organization, a 501(c) 3 charity.
it all started when…
The All Yonkers Youth Athletics (AYYA) organization was founded almost 35 years ago to provide supervised recreational sports for kids in the Yonkers, New York area. Every year, we see about 500-600 local kids – all having a great time! We offer Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, and Volleyball.
Through these many types and levels of competitive sports, we strive to teach our participants a deep respect of themselves and others, as well as their own abilities. With these team sports, AYYA promotes positive personal traits, helping our youth become stronger and better citizens of their community, well into adult life.
AYYA is committed to promoting a positive attitude and representation at all levels of sports for the children of our community.
