Our pee wee division (4 and 5u) and 8u programs are played in house on Saturday mornings at local Yonkers fields. 10u, 12u, & 14u and older divisions participate in a Yonkers wide Travel Program.
We will have some experienced players on the field to help the coaches during our in-house games and more experienced players/coaches to help with the older groups.
We will start off by holding coaches/player clinics on August 24th and 25th run by our experienced staff. Clinic schedules will be sent out 2 weeks prior. Player draft and team selections will be held the week of August 27th.
The season will kick off on Saturday, September 8th, and run through November 10th.
We are a volunteer organization, so parent coaches are very much needed. Please register as soon as possible, we would like to have everything in order prior to the draft/team selections
Registration and further information can be found on our home page at www.allyonkers.org or by emailing email@example.com
Flag Football Program (CO-ED, ages 5 to 14)AYYA's Flag Football program is affiliated with NFL Flag Football and is open to all children ages 5 to 14. Our program mixes the best amounts of life lessons, sports instruction and development, with the right touch of competitiveness (in the older divisions) to make sure everyone gets the most out of their experience. The program will begin in the middle of August with mandatory mini-camps and evaluations for the players and training and orientation for the coaches. Official play begins in early September and goes through the last weekend/Monday/Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Travel Baseball Program
AYYA's Travel Baseball program runs 3 seasons; Spring, Summer and Fall.
Travel baseball is offered for all age divisions, provided the interest from players is there.
Spring travel players are chosen from our in house rec teams. During the Summer and Fall
seasons, AYYA welcomes players from all leagues.
In order to participate in our travel program, players are required to attend try-outs.
AYYA travel baseball/softball is gearing up to begin our 4th year of Fall/Winter indoor training. Each year we provide pro trainers and equipment (including a batting cage) for our baseball and softballs teams from this past season, in preparation for the 2018 Travel season, for a nominal fee.
We would love to create more teams by adding players to expand our more competitive Travel division. Participants from ages 8 to 15 are invited to attend, especially if you have been part of the Travel division in the past.
If you already participated and would like to rejoin us this year, reply with a positive response.
For anyone who would more information please email me at email@example.com.
The All Yonkers Youth Athletics (AYYA) Basketball program runs from early December until late March. The program is open to Boys and Girls ages 5-16. In some cases, we can accept 4 year olds into our In House Program.
We offer In House Programs focused on Beginner to Intermediate skill levels for children for ages 5 and 6 as well as 6 through 8 years old.
We also offer a competitive Travel Program that plays within the Yonkers Federation for Boys and Girls ranging from ages 8 through 16. With each subsequent age group level, there is an increased emphasis on developing individual skills and teamwork.
Online Registration begins in mid-September
Registration for all sports is processed online through our secure payment processing company.
Please go to www.allyonkers.org to register.
Once registrations are complete, all Travel Division players will be evaluated during an evaluation night. All Travel Division players must attend. Every attempt is made to establish teams within an age bracket that will be equitable in overall ability. Once teams are selected, your coach will contact you with upcoming practice schedules
AYYA will provide uniforms (jerseys/shorts) for all players and equipment for all coaches.
