Basketball Program

The All Yonkers Youth Athletics (AYYA) Basketball program runs from early December through the last weekend in March. The program is open to Boys and Girls ages 4 to early teen.

AYYA offers In House Programs focused on beginner to intermediate skill levels for Boys & Girls in three different age groups, 6U, 8U, and 10U.

AYYA also offers a competitive Travel Program that plays within the Yonkers Federation for Boys & Girls ranging from ages 6 to early teen. This Travel Program is best suited for our intermediate to advanced skill level players.

AYYA has also added a 6 session clinic this year. These clinics are due to be held in November/December at Roosevelt High School(dates have not been determined yet due to the ongoing construction at Roosevelt High School). These clinics will run 60 minutes and will be broken down into two sessions per night based on age. These clinics are open to all of our players who have signed up for our teams and also for players who may not be able to commit to a full season but are looking for some additional gym time to improve their skills.

Once registrations are complete, all Travel Division players will be evaluated. All Travel players must be evaluated to allow for us to establish teams, within all the age brackets, that will be equitable in overall ability. Once teams have been formed, your coach will contact you with your upcoming practice schedule.

AYYA will provide uniforms (jerseys/shorts) for all players and equipment for all coaches.

Yonkers Basketball Federation

The Yonkers Basketball Federation is a group comprised of teams from the recreation leagues across the City of Yonkers. Teams in the Federation will play each other in matching age groups in gyms across the City of Yonkers. This Federation helps us expose our players to a larger group of players and skills sets throughout the City to further enhance their skills.

We are excited to begin another year of AYYA Basketball and we thank you all advance for your participation. The strength of our organization is you, the AYYA families, and all of you who have dedicated you time and effort to our children. Please consider volunteering your time to help us in developing all our children’s basketball skills and help to make them all better adults due to the life lessons that they learn on the basketball courts.

Looking forward to another GREAT year!!!!

Baseball/Softball Program

2018 was huge success for AYYA's Baseball and Softball Programs!
We will build off of that success this year and implement some exciting additions.

T-Ball and Small Fry
Our t-ball and coach pitch divisions (Small Fry) will play at our home site, Andrus Field on Saturday mornings. We are planning on providing clinics for the boys and girls who are preparing to move up into the Minor or possibly Travel divisions next season. Register Here

Rec Minors and Major Divisions
Coming off Yonkers Federation Championships in 2 rec league divisions, Minor (10u) and Major (12u) last season, we are eager to get started again.
We are ready to make another run for the championship, by offering some indoor training.
Any player, registered by February 1, will have the opportunity to attend 2 free indoor training clinics. The training dates will be posted by January 31. Register Here
Our plan for the rec divisions will be to have up to 2 games weekdays and clinic style practices on Saturday mornings.

Baseball Travel Division
In our travel division we will be fielding teams ages 8u through 16u. Registration for travel ball will be open only to those who have been evaluated.
We are proud to announce our newest addition to the league.....as promised, we now hold the permit for Bregano field which we are currently converting to support a 60/90 format for our players 13u and older. The travel program in spring for 13-16u will be fielding teams on Bregano Field!
Our 8u through 12u travel program will be playing as always on Andrus North field which, last fall, was also renovated with new infield sod and infield clay. This renovation has already proven to be a success as the field quickly recovers from rain. These teams will also be playing on weekends with scheduled practices on weeknights.

Softball
Our softball program still feels that the Yonkers Softball Federation provides the most convenient place to play, however we are always exploring new options. Andrus South field will be upgraded for the Spring.
Register for our softball programs by February 1 to have the opportunity to attend 2 free indoor training clinics. Training dates will be posted by January 31. Register Here

Summer Ball
We will support all age groups in our Summer and Fall travel baseball/softball programs. These programs have grown immensely in the past few years. Five teams were fielded in both the Summer and Fall programs last year.
